A Big Thank You to eidolon!!!

Picked up a set of your tails at the Nationals. Sorry I missed you Ralph, and John P was a good salesman. They are really nice. Got them on like you posted elsewhere and they work fantastic. Thanks again.
Dang I forgot I was going to pick up some in a different color. Got to talking to John P and forgot to walk over there and look over the colors. I'm fine with the 8 blue tails I already have. Maybe another time

Ralph, have used your tails now in three matches. I can not believe how it's helped to read wind velocity over those thin ones flying all around for better hold off. Was watching others tails fly all over and yours stayed slightly curved and stiff raising and falling under control. Curious about what weight I got at the Nationals. They are not super stiff. Need to know when others ask me

Glad to hear they work for you. This has been my experience as well.

Mr. Ralph does a great job with his tails for sure!!

EIDOLON how do you keel the tails so stiff? I have tails that look like yours but after half a dozen uses they be come very flimsy/floppy?
Store in a tube …. go get a tube at Homedepot , I’ve had mine stiff for years …

I would also rather use plastic tube as opposed to card stock type tube as sides of tube are more slippery which makes it easier to push flags into, I use 11/4” thin wall tube, I think it’s for irrigation systems, you can also get the caps for each end

Mine came with my BRT flags about 20yrs ago. I keep them in a plastic tube. They have never been wet and still hold their shape. I believe the triangular shaped wire connectors help a bunch.
