Received my new AR250 rest (son of SEB, Christopher Lionel)

Will be interesting to see how many of these shows up at IR matches. Being available with a 3" and 2-1/4" (2-1/2" is erroneous as posted earlier) option, there could be some that would try. Depending on how the bags are spaced the giant Jack rabbit ears could pose an issue in combination with the extreme light weight depending on how tight a shooter cranks the front down.

Christopher has told me that if there was enough interest, he would make a smaller front bag for factory rifles. I told him I see mostly Bergara, CZ and some Tikka for ARA matches.

If interested in a smaller bag, please let Christopher know.

I am interested in one of these also and would love to use it on my centerfire also. If anyone tries one on there centerfire please post your opinion
Thanks!
Maybe doable, but not ideal. I shot everything CF/RF off a Farley for years, now a NEO and I think that extra weight and footprint are pretty important for CF, but at this price point, hard to beat for a joystick.

Any reason to believe Edgewoods will fit, use 2 1/4” and 3” on my SEB.

I’d deff be interested in purchasing one for my Cz in factory class if had the bag to fit

Don’t have mine yet, should be here Monday, but definitely curious to see how the tops are designed. I got both, but think they are not really designed to use a front bag as we typically think of it. I could be wrong. Was planning to see if I could machine a Fulghum base to put on it to use some other tops and maybe a more traditional bag as well. Will just depend how it works out the box I suppose. Biggest concern is not adding anymore height than necessary.

When you get it, please circle back and indicate how the bag is secured.
Local guy has interest but would love to use his Edgewoods.

Mine arrived a day early. Haven’t installed the bag yet. I’m very pleased with the way it looks.

An Edgewood bag will not come close to fitting. Not even remotely close.
A whole new top would be required.
It would be nice if Christopher offered a top for the USA shooting market to allow for the use of bags locally available.

So I got mine today. As Ralph said, none of the standard bags we typically use will work out of the box. However, it should be very easy to machine a Randolph style plate that will attach in place of the top that comes with it allowing for any of the Randolph, PQP, or Arnold tops to fit. It’s just two bolts into the joystick mechanism.

Pics below.

Has anyone got some more range time with theirs yet. Wondering how you liked it.
1st week with poor bag tension (too tight) & single leg at rear it had a tendency to lift the rear leg when returned to stop.
2nd week with better bag tension & small leg to front, no problem.
3rd week with board attached to base it felt much more assured.
It has excellent range of travel which will help with our 20m target, lighter to carry & very smooth operation.
One thing i would change is to have the top swivel on the coarse adjustment not on the fine adjustment when releasing the mariner wheel.
Sure it could be improved with larger footprint, more weight & easier to use coarse adjustment but that would move it away from it's design intent & price point.

Very happy with the rest & my tired, beaten up, old SEB original hasn't been used since purchase.
